Do you do well in science? Do you like biology, but not sure what you want as a major? If so, then our new Plant Biology major is for you! Students will take a core of basic biology and science courses that allow first semester contact with senior faculty who are both teachers and researchers in the areas of biotechnology, ecology, molecular biology, natural resources, horticulture, plant pathology, biochemistry and agronomy. Faculty with diverse science interests - just like you!! They will help you ‘design’ your own degree program. The course work in the Plant biology program is flexible, so it’s all about you discovering the right career path.
